Didier Agathe is a French former professional football player, known for his time at Celtic, where he was a key player under manager Martin O'Neill, winning three league titles and three Scottish Cups. He also played for Raith Rovers and Hibernian before joining Celtic. After leaving Celtic, he had a brief spell with Aston Villa before retiring.
Early Career and French Football:
- Agathe was spotted in La Réunion by a scout from Montpellier HSC in 1992.
 - His time at Montpellier was hampered by illness and injuries.
 - He was loaned to Olympique Alès, where he played 29 games and scored 4 goals.
 
Scottish Football and Celtic:
- After a short spell at Hibernian, Agathe joined Celtic for a relatively low fee of £27,000.
 - Under Martin O'Neill, Agathe transitioned from a forward to a wingback, becoming a key part of the team.
 - He played in the 2003 UEFA Cup Final against Porto.
